I don’t want to give out any spoilers in this book review so you’ll be able to read it for the very first time to truly experience the 232-page book. The story of Stillwell: A Haunting On Long Island book is more about a haunted love story.
A truly rare love story. Paul and Allison were a couple that have known each other since they were babies and eventually married.
A truly rare love story. Paul and Allison were a couple that have known each other since they were babies and eventually married.
They had a loving family and everything was perfect until cancer reared its ugly head into their lives. As much as Paul fought to keep Allison alive he followed Allison’s last wish. Allison, told him she was ready; she couldn’t fight the cancer anymore. The once happy family now had to deal with death. The journey to normalcy with children after a loved one’s death.
Stillwell is a house said to be haunted and has had a past history of unexplained and forgotten death. Paul’s job, as a realtor, needs to sell the Stillwell House. Paul soon finds out how everything is related to this house.. the haunting, his wife’s ghost, the demon holding his wife captive.
The characters are well-developed throughout the chapters and it was not hard to relate to the character’s feelings. The finale happens in the last few chapters where everything falls into place.
The book tugs on every kind of feeling from everlasting true love, losing a loved one, self-realization, to redemption. The story has a very good twist when confronting the demon who is holding Allison’s spirit hostage.
I could hardly put this book down to see what happened with every page turn; I wanted to read more!
The main point I took from the book is that Love can truly withstand more than eternity. It’s a beautiful book.
